For people who already work in an assistant

Run your job search
from the chat you're already in.

Paste one line into Claude or ChatGPT. It connects to your CareerSide account and gets to work — searching, matching against your CV, writing the letter.

What it does

Four jobs, all from chat

Runs the search

Describe what you want. The search keeps running between conversations, not just while you're typing.

Live

Reads the matches

Every vacancy scored against your real CV, with written reasoning you can argue with.

Live

Writes the letter

Ask it to tailor your CV or cover letter for one specific role, using the CV you already uploaded.

Live

Tracks the pipeline

Move a role to applied, interviewing or rejected without leaving the chat.

Live
In practice

A morning check-in, three turns long

The value is the exchange, so here is one.

Anything new worth looking at?
Assistant

Three new matches since Friday. Balance: 42 credits.

Senior Backend Engineer
Vercel · Remote (EU)
87

Eight years of Python and the Kubernetes migration you led map directly onto their platform team. Their stack is TypeScript-first, which your CV doesn't evidence — worth addressing in the letter rather than hoping it goes unnoticed.

Staff Engineer, Payments
Mollie · Amsterdam · Hybrid
81

Strong on distributed systems and the billing work at your last role. They ask for PSD2 experience specifically; you have adjacent compliance work but not that regulation by name.

Backend Engineer
Framer · Remote
64

Weaker fit — the role leans product-side and most of your recent work is infrastructure. Included for completeness, not as a recommendation.

Tailor my CV for the Mollie one.
Assistant
That costs 1 credit and leaves you 41. Want me to go ahead?

It asks before spending. Every time.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I still get the dashboard?
Yes. Same account, both surfaces, always the same data. Connecting an assistant adds a way in; it takes nothing away. Anything it does shows up in the dashboard immediately, and anything you do there is what it reads next time.
What can the assistant actually see?
Only what you grant, and you see the full list before you approve it. Permissions are itemised on the consent screen, with the credit-spending ones called out separately.
Does it get my password?
Never. Connecting uses delegated authorization, not a login — your password is never sent to the assistant and it has no way to ask for it. Access expires on its own and you can revoke it at any moment from Settings → Connected assistants.
Can it spend my credits without asking?
No. Running a search and generating a tailored document each cost one credit, and the assistant is required to show you the cost and your balance and wait for a yes. It can hand you a checkout link; it can never charge your card.
Which assistants work?
Anything that can fetch a URL and make HTTP calls — Claude (Code, Desktop and web), ChatGPT with browsing, Cursor and similar editors. The connection uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and a public skill document, so there is no proprietary plugin to install and nothing to maintain.
What if I would rather just use the website?
Then use the website. This is an extra door, not a replacement — the dashboard is the same product with the same data, and plenty of people run searches from chat and review the pipeline in the browser.

Start where you like.
Both doors lead to the same place.

Paste the command into your assistant, or make an account in the browser first — same account, same data, either way.
